Researchers at four universities across three states, including The Delcamp Lab, have been awarded a NSF Track II EPSCoR grant focusing on synergistic effort to use solar energy to split water for hydrogen fuel production, CO2 reduction to fuels, and nitrogen reduction to fertilizers. The Chemistry Department has been in the process of adding new labs and office space for research faculty and students. The building began in 2014 and the move-in date is set for August 2015. The Delcamp Group is looking forward to this brand new, modern lab space that will provide the necessary means to pursue impactful science.

With summer winding down, the Delcamp group must bid farewell to Alexa Zylstra and Tana Rill, two undergraduate researchers in our Renewable Energy Research Lab Summer Research program. Our group has concluded another successful high school summer research program in our Renewable Energy Labs Summer School program. Congrats to The Delcamp Lab graduates, Aron Huckaba and Drew Puneky! 


Aron graduates with his PhD in Chemistry and will be joining The Nazeeruddin/Grätzel Labs as a Post-Doctoral Scientist at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. 


Drew graduates with his BA in Biochemistry and will be continuing his education at the The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
